Warum ZoomoViewer®?

Step 1:
For each product photograph that will appear on your website, upload a high-resolution master image onto the ZoomoViewer® image server.

Step 2:
The image server immediately creates image tiles in all the degrees of resolution required for smooth image zooming.

Step 3:
Visitors to your website select the section of the image they wish to zoom into, using the ZoomoViewer® image zoomer integrated in your website.

Step 4:
The ZoomoViewer® image server identifies and sends only the necessary image tiles to the image zoomer – reducing download times even for the highest-resolution zooms.

Support / FAQs

  1. Which image files can be used with ZoomoViewer®?

ZoomoViewer® is compatible with all standard image formats, such as JPG, GIF, EPS, TIF or PNG.

  2. Can I test ZoomoViewer® before ordering it?

Yes: You can try ZoomoViewer® using a no-cost test account. Please contact us to discuss your request for a test account.

  3. Where can ZoomoViewer® be implemented?

ZoomoViewer® can be quickly and simply integrated into every website and every webshop.

  4. Which browsers support ZoomoViewer®?

Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Opera all support ZoomoViewer®.

  5. What are the system requirements?

In order to display ZoomoViewer®, you need the AdobeTM Flash Plugin version 6 or higher (97% of all internet users already have it).

  6. How does ZoomoViewer® recognise my 360°, animation or 3D image?

Zoomo360, ZoomoAnimation and Zoomo3D require a specialised photographic process. Each article must be photographed from a number of different perspectives, laterally and vertically. The image files are named in accordance with a special protocol to enable ZoomoViewer® to compile multiple photographs into a single 360°, animation or 3D image.

  7. Where can I get assistance in product photography?

If you do not have the resources to photograph your product range, ISA is very happy to do this for you. Our modern photo studio is perfectly equipped for 360°, animation and 3D photography. Please contact us!

  8. How large should each image be to ensure a good zoom effect?

The recommended size for a good result is 3000 x 3000 pixels per image. As a general rule, the bigger the resolution, the better the zoom effect on your website.

  9. Can I adjust the rotation speed of the 360°, animation or 3D images?

Yes: You can enter specific parameters in the code snippet to adjust the speed of rotation.

  10. How can I calculate the weighted number of my zoom images?

The weighted number of images is based on the actual number of images in the form of standard 2D photographs. Five standard zoom images (2D) are equivalent to one 360° zoom image or one animated zoom image. Ten standard zoom images (2D) are equivalent to one 3D zoom image. Different zoom image types can be mixed when calculating prices.

    Table:

    Examples:
    5 x 360° ⇒ weighted number of images = 25 (5 x 5 2D photos)
    4 x Animation ⇒ weighted number of images = 20 (4 x 5 2D photos)
    12 x 2D ⇒ weighted number of images = 12 (12 x 1 2D photos)
    3 x 3D ⇒ weighted number of images = 30 (3 x 10 2D photos)

  11. How can I upload a large number of photo files into the system?

Image files are uploaded using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Your ISA representative will give you your individual access codes with which you can set up an FTP client. This method is perfect for uploading large amounts of data. Alternatively, you can log into the ZoomoViewer® administrators area using the same access codes.

  12. Can I use ZoomoViewer® on my own server?

Licence customers can run ZoomoViewer® on their own servers. The server system requirements are provided by your ISA representative.

  13. Can I change the ZoomoViewer® user interface?

Three different ZoomoViewer® user interface designs (skins) are included at no extra cost. If you wish, you can commission ISA to design a customised skin based on your corporate design.

  14. How much do I have to pay for traffic?

The average traffic is limited to 50 MB per image per month. Extra traffic is charged per GB. How-ever, in our experience, the average traffic limit is exceeded only in rare cases.
